Welcome to the Cedar River Academy at Taylor Elementary’s (CRA) website. This website is provided as a resource for information for our CRA families. CRA is a magnet school striving to better our local community through our theme of sustainability. Our mission is to develop a community of high achieving future ready learners with a passion for the sustainability of the environment, community, and self. We teach the Iowa Common Core through a sustainability lens and use project based learning to enhance student understanding of environmental concepts. Our students engage in many field based learning experiences throughout our community such as Mathew 25’s Urban Farm, and Wickiup Hill and Indian Creeks Learning Centers.
